Out of all the places I've been to in Europe, Venice is hands down my favorite place of all. When I was there, it was so hot, but my tour mates and I ate gelatos whenever we had the chance. People were nice, even though they were trying to sell stuff, I loved their personalities. They were friendly and loud. I was told that Venetian police officers are a joke. They just dress nicely and look good, but never actually fight crimes. I noticed all the locals look beautiful and cared about how they dressed. The narrow streets were almost impossible to navigate through and I let Carrie, a girl from PA, navigate us; because to me, all the streets looked the same in a way. Anyway, the food was delicious, especially the gelatos, coffees, and the venetian dinner where they fed us until we couldn't eat anymore. They were very generous with wine too.
