I was born and raised in Seoul, South Korea until I was 10. My family and I moved to the States in 1991. I have visited Korea twice since I moved U.S. Once in 1996 and then back in 2001. It was a lot of fun visiting my relatives and catching up with a childhood friend. All of my mom's side of the families live in Korea, whereas more than half of my dad's side of the family lives here in U.S. I also got to meet my old childhood friend Jin. I had the chance to go out and witness the New Year of 2001 at one of the central locaiton for New Year parties. My cousins, their friends, Jin, and I went for three day ski trip somewhere in the mountains. I remmeber being really cold, to the point where I felt all the moisture in my nostral instantly freeze as soon as I stepped outside. I had so much fun the last time I was there. It's the plce I was born and the place I would love to go back someday.
